It was fantastic to see so many people making a stand for faith and freedom and honouring those who have suffered because of their religion, prior to the launch of the Religious Freedom in the World Report 2016.

Many places across the country got involved and lit up red such as Portsmouth Cathedral, Lambeth Palace, Stonyhurst College, The Palace of Westminster, Jewish Liberal Synagogue in St John’s Wood, Imam Khoei Islamic Centre, Westminster Abbey, Westminster Cathedral, and many many more.

Hundreds also wore red to show their solidarity and shared their pictures in honour of Red Wednesday, including schools such as the Salvatorian College, St Vincent de Paul primary school and The Sacred Heart Language College.

We cannot thank-you enough to all those who got involved and supported #RedWednesday, to show a profound act of solidarity across different faiths
