Anton Bruckner Sacred Motets – Two Æquales
Much of the music on this recording from Ealing Abbey Choir will be well-known, with several of the pieces being standard choral repertoire for most cathedral and collegiate choirs. This CD also includes various lesser-known works of considerable merit from Bruckner's choral oeuvre. The Ealing Abbey Choir, probably one of the few Catholic music institutions in West London to have a continuing history through two world wars was founded by Dom Cyril Rylance in 1908.
