A decade after the Daesh (ISIS) invasion, Iraq’s remaining Christian population needs all the assistance they can get to keep the Faith alive.
With the help of generous benefactors, ACN supported the creation of the Catholic University in Erbil (CUE), northern Iraq in 2015, and we continue providing scholarships to students pursuing life-changing Christian education. CUE offers more than just academic studies: it fosters leadership, social cohesion and reconciliation among students of different faiths. Students learn vital skills for their future careers and are empowered to rebuild and restore their communities.
Together, we can help equip young Christians with the necessary knowledge so that they can contribute to peace and prosperity in their historic homeland, giving them a reason to stay.
