Why is Advocacy so important?

At Aid to the Church in Need UK, we are dedicated to advocating for Christians who face persecution around the world. Our advocacy efforts aim to raise awareness and influence government policies to ensure that these vulnerable Christian brothers and sisters receive the support and protection they desperately need.

What advocacy work is ACN doing?

Awareness and action

Through our campaigns, ACN regularly calls on the UK Government, the United Nations and other international bodies to prioritise the rights and safety of persecuted religious minorities in their diplomatic engagements to help alleviate their suffering. By highlighting the severe human rights violations these vulnerable communities endure, including forced displacement, violence, and discrimination, we strive to bring about meaningful change and give a voice to the voiceless across the world.

Help them share your freedom of Faith

Join us in our mission to defend religious freedom and human dignity. Your voice can make a difference, help us advocate for those who cannot speak for themselves.

ACN International is about to launch a global advocacy campaign on a scale never seen before in the autumn of 2025.

Amid an upsurge in attacks on Christians – killings, abductions, torture, sexual violence, forced mass displacement as well as job discrimination and hatred in schools, we will be calling on you to join us in a worldwide call for fresh action to stop persecution.

To get involved and raise your voice for the persecuted church, you can find our latest updates here or alternatively you can join our exclusive advocacy mailing list here [email protected].
