Lebanon Emergency Appeal
Escalating strikes, destroyed infrastructure, and mass displacement have pushed the country into a full‑blown humanitarian catastrophe.
Families Are Fleeing for Their Lives — Your Help Is Urgently Needed
Right now, Lebanon is facing one of the worst humanitarian catastrophes in years. Relentless airstrikes, mass displacement, collapsing hospitals, and widespread destruction have pushed the country to breaking point. In just a few weeks, more than one million people have been forced to flee their homes, including hundreds of thousands of children.
As whole communities escape with nothing, the Church is standing strong — opening its doors, caring for the wounded, sheltering families, and offering hope. But the needs are far greater than local communities can handle alone.
Today, your love and compassion can save lives.
The Crisis in Lebanon

“Within days, tens of thousands… forced to flee their homes with nothing but the clothes they were wearing.”
— UN Human Rights Experts
Since the beginning of March, Lebanon’s suffering has deepened dramatically:
- Over 1 million people displaced in weeks, many fleeing within minutes of evacuation warnings.
- Critical infrastructure destroyed, including bridges and roads, leaving whole regions cut off from aid.
- The health system is on the verge of collapse, following more than 92 attacks on healthcare and widespread hospital closures.
- More than 1,240 civilians killed, including women, children, and first responders — with thousands more injured.
These are mothers, fathers, grandparents, and children who just weeks ago were living ordinary lives. Today, they are homeless, traumatised, and desperately searching for safety.
Your blessings in action
Entire villages lie in ruins where only the foundations remain. At a time when people are in despair, your gift is a source of comfort and hope, and will protect lives by meeting the most urgent needs.
- Lifesaving medical points in areas no one else can reach — urgent care that can mean the difference between life and death.
- Food and fuel for survival, keeping families warm, fed, and safe as power cuts deepen the crisis.
- Shelter and dignity, with Church communities opening their doors to welcome displaced families who have lost everything.
- Emergency relief for thousands, including families fleeing Saida and Baalbek with nothing.
- Support for traumatised children, offering comfort, faith, and emotional healing through special spiritual care packs.
- Pastoral care that never abandons, with priests, religious, and volunteers accompanying families through fear, loss, and uncertainty.
Bring them hope today
In this time of fear and deep suffering, your compassion becomes a lifeline.
Please stand with Lebanon’s families, so they know they are not alone, and that the love of Christ reaches them even in the deepest darkness.
Please give what you can — Your love can bring them warmth, care, and the reassurance that they are not abandoned.
