Children and families around the world need our help

For children growing up in war, conflict or the threat of violence, the world is a fearful and dangerous place. In countries where Christians are persecuted, Christian children are collateral damage in the overall brutality – and the numbers run to millions. With your help ACN can provide vital child and family focused projects.

Parishes in Action

We are grateful for the support of our Catholic Bishops, our Parish Priests and the Catholic community to raise awareness for persecuted Christians via ACN’s #RedWednesday. We appreciate you theming your parish red with candles, flowers on the altar, lighting red, robing red and parishioners wearing red. Along with organising a #RedWednesday liturgy for the persecuted Church or taking on a Parish challenge for suffering young Christians.

#RedWednesday resources for your Parish including prayers, liturgies and bulletin information can be found here.

We would also like to invite Parish bookings to our #RedWednesday Holy Mass, on 19th November at 6pm at St George's Cathedral, London where Mass will be celebrated by Rt Rev Bishop Nicholas Hudson, Homily from Canon Victor Darlington, with guest speaker our 'Courage to be Christian' awardee. To reserve a place for yourself, or book a parish group to attend, click the button below.
