With an array of experience including teaching and school chaplaincy, members of our ACN Community Team are keen to build fruitful links with individuals, parishes, schools, Churches Together and Catholic and other groups and networks.

Their focus is to bring you information, resources and opportunities to bring you closer to the family of faith around the world, to understand the dangers and challenges they face and to bring to life how your prayers, support and action can make a real difference.

My name is Jerry Lohan and as a longstanding supporter of ACN, I am delighted to work for this charity.Prior to my appointment I worked in education, specifically chaplaincy and RE.

I enjoyed supporting pupils, their families, and staff on their faith journeys, providing a wide range of opportunities for spiritual growth and development.

Having worked as an Area Secretary for ACN for several years, it was a natural progression for me to utilise my skills to fundraise and join the Community Fundraising Team.

ACN is a charity who have people with boots on the ground undertaking God’s work in all ways possible across the globe to help our brothers and sisters in Christ who are persecuted for their faith.

I have a passion for rescuing dogs and have several small breeds of my own. I am humbled and honoured to work for such a worthwhile charity and strive to spread the ACN message.

Hi! I’m William, and I’m the Community Fundraiser for Scotland. I love meeting people and relish the chance to talk about faith, family, music, the Church, and everything in between!

I hope that when you arrive in heaven, Christ might say, ‘Because of you, others are here today. Do you want to meet them?! Working for ACN allows me to share the Faith, encourage concern for the people we support, and provide practical help.

I was previously a peripatetic teacher of music and ran a private music practice. I enjoy all things creative and love nothing more than visiting an art gallery, performing choral music, and going to opera and classical music concerts. I am a music history nerd and love reading about the lives of famous and obscure composers!! I am married with two young children and live in Edinburgh.

To book William for a parish appeal, a talk, a school assembly, or an event in Scotland – please email [email protected] or phone 07939 809 414

After 14 years of working as a school chaplain, I am delighted to return to ACN as a full-time staff member. I am very much inspired by the vision and ethos of ACN which supports people who follow Jesus no matter the cost.

I am looking forward to work across the dioceses of Westminster, Brentwood and East Anglia with a passion for this great cause.

After many years working within the Catholic Church here and abroad in various roles – teaching, diocesan work, Catholic youth ministry and young adult work – I have been privileged to join ACN as a Community Fundraiser.

Supporting the persecuted Church is such an important task and it is a joy to be able to talk to parishes, young people, and schools about our work, encouraging prayer and fundraising as well as raising the general awareness of what is going on in the world today for many Christians.

In my spare time, I enjoy acting in plays, as well as writing and directing murder mystery nights! That and of course trekking the Malvern Hills with lovely Noah (my golden retriever who refuses to retrieve anything but loves all things mud and water).

To book Teresa for a parish appeal, a talk or set up a schools membership in her areas – please email [email protected] or phone 07939 809 412

Working for ACN is a bit like coming home. I have stories to tell and experiences to draw on and I am keen to hear about the stories, experiences and views of those I meet through my work. We have some catching up to do, and all in the cause of supporting suffering and persecuted Christians.

I live in glorious Devon. My three children are now young adults with their own ambitions in life. I enjoyed my previous career in teaching, mostly because it provided many shared experiences and the chance to raise awareness of others and promote cooperation and empathy.

It is now my mission to work similarly through supporting our faith as Catholics and our love for our neighbour. I love to be in a parish sharing Mass and talking about ACN, and equally I love to be in schools seeing how young people respond to the needs of others. Through awareness, prayer and giving we can make a difference.
