ACN is honoured to sponsor both men and women who are selected to become catechists and then play an invaluable role in the life of the Church. In the Maiduguri Diocese, North East Nigeria, catechists train for two years and then continue to receive support from ACN in their ongoing formation. Daily Meals for the elderly
With your help, ACN will continue to support a project run by the Marist Brothers in Aleppo, Syria, that serves vulnerable people who are frail, elderly and living alone. As well as providing daily ‘meals on wheels’ to nearly 200 elderly people each morning, the volunteers provide much-needed companionship and support to those who feel forgotten, vulnerable and alone in this war-torn land. ACN is supporting the Maronite diocese of Baalbek, one of the poorest in Lebanon, by giving food parcels to 500 families facing severe hunger.
