Two delightful pansy designs by artist Sarah Houston, exclusively created for Aid to the Church in Need, feature in this new greeting card pack. The pansy, said to symbolize remembrance and meditation and the love and admiration of another person is also known as the ‘Trinity flower’, symbol of the trinity, first revealed to Mary.
The word pansy, from the verb pansée in French meaning ‘to think’, was imported into late Middle English as a name of a Viola in the mid 15th century.
