Red Wednesday Event in the Scottish Parliament
Get ready to Stand Up for Faith and Freedom
At a time when the rights of minorities in so many countries are threatened by growing extremism and religious nationalism, Aid to the Church in Need in Scotland is hosting this special Parliamentary Event to discuss the findings of a comprehensive research programme it has conducted investigating the topic.
Taking part in the discussion assessing the findings of ACN’s Religious Freedom in the World 2018 report will be experts in the field from the charity, and representatives from different faith organisations and public figures engaged in this area of critical importance in today’s world.
The event forms part of the line-up of activities for ACN’s #RedWednesday, standing up for faith and freedom.
A light buffet with refreshments will be provided.
There will also be an executive summary of ACN’s Religious Freedom Report 2018 available for you to take home.
Entrance to this event is free of charge, however it is by invitation only. If you would like to be invited please contact: [email protected] or call 01698 337470.
We would like as many of you as possible to attend but please be aware there will be a limited number of invites available, so do get in touch quickly.
Guests will need to bring their invitation to the event. Registration at 5.30pm, start at 6pm.
