In June 2025, 200 Christians were massacred by jihadists in Nigeria and the world was silent. The default position of ‘the world’ on the issue of Christian persecution is largely silence. So, once again, #RedWednesday is our chance as Catholics and other Christians to make a stand together in solidarity.

Please join us for Holy Mass this #RedWednesday as we return to St George’s Cathedral for a special evening of prayer, music, awards, guests, hope and action under the glow of red light.

All are welcome. Please spread the word in your community. The event will also be livestreamed.

  • 7:15pm: #RW Award Presentation
