BLOG: Cross Bay Walk Update
Despite shifting sands and tidal currents, Team ACN made it across safe and sound!
On Saturday 7 September, 18 intrepid ACN supporters completed their sponsored walk across Morecambe Bay. Caroline, Bridget and Ruth for our NW Office and 15 ACN benefactors from throughout the NW braved the quicksands and forded a river as they squelched across the sea bed from Arnside to Kent’s Bank.
Shifting sands and tidal currents can make passage extremely dangerous, but Team ACN, very capably led by the Queen’s Guide for the Kent Sands, made it across safe and sound!
