Advent resources for primary schools

ACN is inviting your school to join us in our very own prayer journey across the world as we turn our thoughts to some of the many communities that we support in different countries across the globe.

During each week of Advent, we will be focusing our prayer intentions on one country supported by ACN linked to the themes of hope, peace, joy and love. Children will develop a deeper understanding of the work of ACN to support poor and vulnerable Christian communities in Nigeria, Lebanon, Brazil and Ukraine, whilst preparing their hearts and minds to celebrate the arrival of Jesus at Christmas.

With beautiful prayers and quotes, teachers may wish to adapt the reflection by adding their own/children’s prepared prayers or encourage spontaneous prayer.
