Maisy Milk Rosary Novena

The Maisy Milk Rosary Novena offers children the opportunity to know Mary more fully and to understand her support as an intercessory of our prayers. In this novena children will get to know the titles of Mary, from the Litany of Loreto, and for each day of the novena they will be invited to pray one decade of The Rosary in support of a country where ACN is helping suffering or persecuted Christians. Through praying The Rosary the children will offer prayers to Mary and ask her to intercede by taking these prayers to Jesus and God the Father. The children will gain an understanding of Our Lady, Mary, as part of The Holy Family, as the Mother of Jesus and as The Queen of Heaven. And they will be able to appreciate that Mary will always listen to our prayers and that she offers us her love and support.

This is a flexible resource. Whilst some teachers may complete the novena on consecutive school days, it is a resource that can be completed over nine days that are not consecutive. We recommend using a map to show the children where the countries are and to talk about what life may be like for children in that country.
